The cart type air drive high pressure wash pump is widely used in oil and gas drilling site, especially for the offshore drilling rig sites. The air drive high pressure wash pump is powered by air engine. There is no electrical spark generated. Unlike the electric drive motor, the air drive wash pump ultizes air engine, it will not be overheated or explosion. It can save electrical power.
World famous brand GN Solids Control offer complete and turnkey solution on mud solids control and drilling waste management. GN offers 725PSI and 2500PSI air drive wash down pump for optional. Clients can choose the suitable type per jobsite request, and flush for their shale shaker, mud cleaners, mud tank systems, vertical cuttings dryers, and decanter centrifuges. Specifications of the air driven wash down pump offered by GN Solids Control
How to Operation the air driven wash down pump for solids control mud mixing systems
1) You should always use clean, dry air at 7 bar maximum air pressure at the inlet. Higher pressure may result in hazardous situations and lead to damage the air driven wash down pump.
2) Throttle the inlet air or reduce the air source pressure will have the similar effect to the air drive high pressure wash pump performance; the torque decreasing is bigger than the speed decreasing.
3) Throttle the inlet air will affect the air drive high pressure wash pump speed; the speed decreasing is bigger than the torque decreasing.
4) Ambient temperature for the air drive high pressure wash pump varies from -30°C to 65°C for standard pump model,. If clients want higher or lower temperature application air drive high pressure wash pump, please you contact with GN engineering teams.
Operator should pay attention to below points in order to insure a reliable and fluent performance
1) The operators should always wear eye protection during operating or maintenance to the air drive wash pump.
2) The operators should always turn off air supply and disconnect the air supply hose before installation, disassembly, and maintenance, flushing, or adjusting any accessories of the pump.
